Ray Zimmerer Memorial Golf Tournament

Shingle Creek Golf Club

7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Tee up on a brand new course….the redesigned Shingle Creek Golf Course! Planned by Arnold Palmer Design Company, the hotel’s new course is both innovative and classic. Set along the historic Shingle Creek headwaters of the Everglades, the course provides a challenging and rewarding game of golf for all skill levels. The natural beauty of the course creates a feeling of seclusion from the hustle and bustle of Orlando.

Tournament fee includes greens fees, range balls, breakfast, lunch and prizes.  Rental clubs are available at an additional cost.  Please sign up for the tournament during the convention registration process and your registration deadline for the tournament is January 5, 2019.

Once checked in, you can enter the NEW AKFCF “Prime Time 2” Green Room. Just got off the plane and want to look and feel refreshed? We’ve got you covered with experts from our hair, make-up and massage team. Relax and unwind in a fun and funky atmosphere with unique finger foods and drinks. And don’t forget to pick up your swag bag on the way out!

Community Service Project for St. Jude Children's Research Hospitals

We are asking all “Prime Time 2” guests to open your hearts and donate a new item for the children battling life-threatening illnesses at St. Jude Hospitals. Items such as children’s books, small travel size activities/ games, colored markers, pencils and crayons, nail polish, make-up, super hero action figures, Barbie clothes, card games, and ear buds can make their day a bit more tolerable. St. Jude will also accept KFC gift cards so that families can enjoy a home cooked meal outside the hospital. A full list of approved items can be found on the AKFCF website. The children range in age from infants to college level. Look for the drop off location in the AKFCF “Prime Time 2” registration area.
